Herb Yogurt Sauce

Prep Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 5 mins
This is something I make all the time. It’s simple, but it actually brings a dish together. The heavier seasoning gives it some backbone, and the mix of lemon and vinegar keeps it bright. I use it on bowls, eggs, vegetables, avocado toast, anything that needs something fresh on top.
Ingredients
- 2 cups 0% plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp distilled vinegar
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp green onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried dill
- 1–2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl.
- Mix until smooth and fully combined.
- Taste and adjust salt, acid, or seasoning as needed.
- Let sit for 5–10 minutes before serving to let flavors settle.

Notes
- This is a heavily seasoned sauce — that’s intentional
- The lemon + vinegar gives it a clean, sharp acidity
- Olive oil rounds it out without making it heavy
- If it feels too thick, loosen with a splash of water or lemon juice
- Works as a drizzle, dip, or sauce base
